1.
Where do you attend school? If you are
attending a University, what is your major?
Spring of 2004, I graduated from Silver
Creek High School (Longmont, Colorado).
I will attend the University of Colorado
at Boulder this fall as a freshman majoring
in computer and electrical engineering.
2.
Where are you from?
I was born in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois,
and I have lived in Longmont since January
of 2001.
3.
Why did you choose ETL for your summer
internship?
The ETL internship program is like no
other opportunity available to a student
my age. No where else would it be possible
for a freshman undergrad to work every
day, one-on-one, with leading scientists
developing cutting-edge instruments, or
sit in on seminars given by visitors from
across the country... and get paid to
do it.
4.
What are you working on this summer and
who are you working with?
This
summer I'm working with Dr. Al Gasiewski,
Dr. Marian Klien of ET1, and Dr. Joel
Johnson of Ohio State University to develop
a spectrum analyzer module for the PSR/CX
radiometer. In this summer's experiments
the analyzer will be used to determine
the level of anthropogenic interference
over the C-band spectrum.

Anything else you would like to share?
None.
